Theta vs Pi 8
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
So what is Theta vs Pi 8? Well, it's the sequel to Theta vs Pi 7. There's no need to play that first though (in fact there are various improvements between the games so I'd definitely suggest playing this one if either of them).
The premise is pretty simple; it's a 2D platformer with 49 levels across 7 lands. As could be expected from the genre; you jump, dodge, collect coins, get powerups, play minigames, face enemies and fight bosses. The twist is that it takes place in a world where everyone is a Greek letter.
You play as Theta. You are a Theta.
After years at war, the Theta and Pi kingdoms are finally at peace. However, a mysterious enemy has begun to launch dark magic attacks against both your people. King Pi very helpfully suggests to Queen Theta that you should be sent to investigate.
You must travel across the sea to a strange new land, beginning a journey to save two kingdoms.

Install instructions
For Windows, either:
- Download the installer file, run it and follow the prompts.
- Download the Windows package and extract the contents. Execute the "Theta_vs _Pi_8.exe" file to run.
For Linux:
- Download and run the .deb file. The application shortcut will be set up on your desktop.
For Mac:
- Download and the .app file to your computer and run it to run the game. Your operating system may block the file as being from an unauthorised developer. If so, you will need to go to "System Preferences > Security & Privacy" and agree to open it.
